OregonWest Excursions is committed to developing the most elegant and enjoyable tours possible for our clients. Below are the tours we currently have in place and a few we are still working on. Recently, we have focused more of our travel on the contiguous United States and Canada. Now, we are adding in other trips like Alaska tour. Next, we are going to focus on giving our travelers the opportunity to travel to exciting international destinations as well! Miami & the Keys – April 21-27, 2023 – South Beach… has been called the American Riviera and an Art Deco Playground. Everglades National Park… The largest subtropical wilderness in the United States. The Key’s… The word Key comes from the Spanish word cayo, which means little island. The Florida Keys, therefore, means “little islands of Florida”, and it is with the Spanish that our brief history of the Florida Keys really begins. These little islands had been home to Caloosa Indians who lived here until the arrival of the history-making Spanish Ponce de Leon expedition. When the expedition first arrived here these explorers were looking for the Fountain of Youth but instead found money. This tour is sold out – contact me if you want to be added to a waiting list.

Washington Wine Tour – May 3rd – 6th, 2023 – One of the nations top wine regions has appeared amongst the rivers, lakes and mountains of Central Washington. Bordered by the towering Cascade Mountains on the west and sagebrush covered hills on the east, vineyards and their attendant wineries are rapidly appearing throughout the area. The winemakers of this area have banded together in the belief that the influence of the Cascade Mountains and the broad rivers and lakes makes the region unique! Canyonlands of the South… Bryce, Zion & the Grand Canyon – May 14th – 20th, 2023 – Welcome to the Canyon Lands of the South West, featuring Arizona & Utah… This journey brings you into a colorful world of stunning vistas and the unique topography of three national parks: Zion, Bryce & the Grand Canyon… this is some of the most scenic and inspiring landscapes on earth!!! This tour is sold out. 

Victoria, Whistler & Vancouver BC – June 11th – 17th, 2023 Enjoy all the breathtaking beauty that this tour offers as we travel through coastal mountains & quaint seaside villages, and to world class cities blessed by magnificent nature. The journey itself is as much fun as the destinations! Breathe in the fresh air on two scenic ferry crossings, and explore 3 great cities on this wonderful tour. This tour is sold out.

Hurricane Ridge & the San Juan Islands – July 30th – August 4th, 2023 It’s time to breathe the fresh, mile-high air on Hurricane Ridge, just south of Port Angeles, in the Olympic National Park. You’ll feel you’re on top of the world, and you actually are! The ruggedly carved mountain range contrasts with the soft fields of wild flowers in the subalpine meadows below. Next, it’s Anchors Away! Cruise the pristine waters and narrow passageways aboard the Chinook. View Orca whales, and other wildlife, on a 3-day cruise you’ll never forget! History & Elegance Colorado Trains & More! August 17th – August 23rd, 2023 – Colorado’s history is full of the impacts of railroads and mining. Both have left an indelible impact on the Colorado of today.
