Over six days, we’ll immerse you in the heart and soul of the Pacific Northwest, where the stunning natural beauty of the Cascade Mountains meets the vibrant craft beer culture of Bend and the rugged charm of the Wild West.
Beginning in the picturesque town of Sisters, you’ll explore quaint streets, dine on local cuisine, and shop in unique boutiques. Then, it’s a craft beer lover’s dream as we tour Bend’s renowned breweries, followed by an adventure at Smith Rock and a cowboy-style feast. Our journey takes you to paleontological wonders, historic towns, and breathtaking landscapes, all while enjoying comfortable accommodations and delicious meals. Get ready to create memories that will last a lifetime on this unforgettable Oregon Odyssey!

Itinerary

Day 1 – Wednesday, June 5th: Arrival in Sisters Our journey begins as we depart from our various pick-up locations and then begin heading to Sisters, a charming town nestled in the Cascade Mountains. After a leisurely morning drive, we arrive in Sisters around noon. You’ll have the afternoon to explore the town at your own pace, indulging in local cuisine and boutique shopping. As the day draws to a close, we check into the comfortable Grandstay Hotel in Sisters, providing the perfect base for our adventure. Our first evening together culminates with a delightful dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 2 – Thursday, June 6th: Brewery Tour in Bend Our day begins with a hearty breakfast, setting the stage for an exploration of Bend’s vibrant craft beer scene. We start at the renowned Deschutes Brewery, where a guided tour unveils their brewing secrets, followed by a tasting flight. Next, we head to the lively 10 Barrel Brewing Co. for more beer tasting or relaxation. Our beer adventure continues with a visit to Boneyard Beer, known for its inventive brews. In the evening, we check into the River House in Bend and then enjoy dinner together at a local restaurant.
Day 3 –Friday , June 7th: Smith Rock and Cowboy Dinner Following a delicious hotel breakfast, we embark on a journey to the stunning Smith Rock, a rock-climbing paradise and nature lover’s dream. After an exhilarating morning, we dine at Cascade Lakes at Seventh Street in Redmond. Upon returning to the River House, you can freshen up or enjoy some free time. Later, we explore the Fort Rock Valley Historical Society, a window into the region’s history. Our day concludes with a rustic, cowboy-style dinner experience at the Cowboy Dinner Tree.
Day 4 – Saturday, June 6th: Paleontology and John Day Today, we depart for John Day with a stop at the Bowman Museum in Prineville for a glimpse into local heritage. After a satisfying lunch at Club Pioneer, we continue our journey to the picturesque Painted Hills, a photographer’s paradise. At the Thomas Condon Paleontology Center, we delve into the fascinating world of fossils. Our day ends at the Best Western John Day, followed by a delicious dinner at the Snaffle Bit Restaurant, where we unwind and share stories of the day.
Day 5 – Sunday, June 7th: Hood River and Maryhill We start with breakfast at our hotel and set off for Hood River, with lunch at Brenda’s Blessings in Fossil. En route, we visit the Maryhill Museum of Art, perched high on a bluff overlooking the Columbia River. After a day of culture and scenic beauty, we arrive at the historic Skamania Lodge. Dinner at the hotel offers a perfect way to end the day.

Day 6 – Monday, June 8th: Bonneville Dam and Farewell Our final day begins with a hotel breakfast before a tour of the impressive Bonneville Dam, providing insights into the region’s hydroelectric power. Lunch awaits at Bridgeside Family Restaurant in Cascade Locks. We continue to Multnomah Falls, a breathtaking cascade in the heart of the Columbia Gorge. As our tour concludes, we drop you off at your respective locations, enriched with memories of a remarkable journey through the diverse landscapes of Oregon.
