This excellent four-day, three-night excursion takes OregonWest guests to the Weasku Lodge outside Grants Pass. This historic lodge sits right on the banks of the Rogue River offering the group incredible serenity and beauty as a home base for this tour. Each of our guests will be set up in a River King or Double Queen Cabin. Gourmet breakfasts will begin our day each morning we are there; in the early evening/late afternoon the lodge provides finger foods and light snacks as guests move off toward their dinner plans and in the evening provides an outdoor fire and all the fixings to roast marshmallows as a way to wind down the day. This is a new kind of tour, with a new style of place to stay, and a more laidback pace for the days away.
For this tour, we will be heading to a lodge outside Grants Pass. This historic lodge sits on the banks of the Rogue River and is very serene and quiet. We will make the Weasku Lodge our home for the next three nights as we enjoy the calm beauty of the lodge grounds and partake in some of the great activities available to us in the larger area. All this while staying in excellent accommodations—Weasku’s King and Queen River Cabins. The lodge offers a gourmet breakfast every morning, snacks and light food in the later afternoon and a warm chocolate cookie in the evening when we return from our excursions and entertainment activities!
This tour will be full of enjoyable activities and will include :
- Guests will have the opportunity to take a class to learn how to blow glass
- Guests will take a calmer jet boat ride that follows a historic mail route used 100 years ago to bring mail up the Rogue River. BBQ lunch is included.
- Guests will sit back and enjoy the music of the Buena Vista Social Orchestra during an evening of outdoor entertainment and fun at the Britt Music & Arts Festival
- A stirring performance of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival’s Macbeth in Ashland will cap off 3 nights of fun.
This is an all inclusive tour and will be limited to 10 guests. The only thing not included are any personal spending you might do while on the tour. All meals, entrances and gratuities are included in the price.
