Escape to Washington’s scenic North Sound on this relaxed summer journey filled with coastal beauty, charming seaside towns, and memorable Northwest experiences. Traveling comfortably by van with fellow OregonWest guests, we will make our way north with thoughtfully paced stops in Olympia and Everett before settling into the welcoming waterfront community of Bellingham. Along the way, enjoy a scenic ferry ride to Whidbey Island, sweeping views from Deception Pass, and time to explore historic Fairhaven and downtown Bellingham at an easy, enjoyable pace. A full-day cruise into the San Juan Islands offers the chance to watch for marine wildlife, take in island scenery, and experience one of the Pacific Northwest’s most beloved waterways. We will also visit the Washington State Capitol and take in the dramatic landscape around Mount St. Helens before returning home.
