Discover the Magic of our Recent Presidential Virginia Adventure!

Greetings, fellow adventurers! We’ve just returned from an epic journey, and we couldn’t wait to share the highlights of our thrilling East Coast expedition with you. From scenic flights to historic landmarks and mouthwatering cuisine, our recent tour with OregonWest Excursions was nothing short of spectacular.

Day 1: Our adventure kicked off with smooth departures from Salem, Woodburn, and Tualatin, leading us to Portland International Airport. From there, we hopped on a flight that took us to Richmond, Virginia, where our cozy haven at Graduate Hotel awaited.

Day 2: This day was all about stepping back in time. We explored the iconic Mount Vernon, basked in the grandeur of the mansion, and embarked on a National Treasure Tour. To top it off, a delicious dinner at the Tobacco Company, expertly organized by David Campbell, left us truly impressed.

Day 3: Our journey continued as we ventured to Charlottesville for a taste of southern charm. Lunch at The Whiskey Jar was a delightful surprise, followed by an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Monticello. After returning to Richmond, we enjoyed some downtime before savoring a scrumptious dinner at Tarrant’s.

Day 4: We were transported to a different era in Colonial Williamsburg, where history came alive. Then, it was off to Virginia Beach, where we checked into the Holiday Inn North and embarked on a dinner cruise with breathtaking views of Norfolk.

Day 5: This day was all about exploration. We visited the Military Aviation Museum, enjoyed leisure time on Virginia Beach’s boardwalk, and delved into maritime history at the Nauticus National Maritime Center. The day wrapped up with a memorable dinner at Swan Terrace Restaurant.

Day 6: A day of leisure in Virginia Beach allowed our guests to create their adventures, and we concluded it with a delightful dinner at the hotel.

Day 7: As our adventure neared its end, we prepared for departure after a leisurely breakfast. We headed back to Oregon, bringing with us a treasure trove of cherished memories.

Our guests were enamored with the carefully crafted itinerary, smooth logistics, and the perfect blend of history, culture, and relaxation. But don’t just take our word for it—here’s what some of our clients had to say:

“Our Tour Director, Chris Wagenet, was attentive to the needs of the group, well-organized, and provided helpful information such as maps and guidebooks. Our Bus Driver, Tyler, was quite knowledgeable about his hometown and shared a wealth of information about Virginia.”

“Great to stay in only two hotels! Very educational, interesting, and nice-paced itinerary…”

“The food and lodging were excellent. The attractions were inspiring and awesome…”

It’s safe to say that our Presidential Virginia adventure left a lasting impression on everyone involved. Stay tuned for more incredible journeys with OregonWest Excursions!
