Join us for a relaxed and scenic four-day getaway through the vineyards and river towns of Southeastern Washington. Our base for this immersive wine country experience is Richland, nestled along the Columbia River and surrounded by rolling hills, golden fields, and world-class wineries.

Our journey begins with a tasting at Terra Blanca Winery followed by a Mediterranean-style welcome dinner at Tagaris. Over the next few days, we’ll enjoy tastings at premier wineries like Desert Wind and Bookwalter, explore local history at the Hanford Reach Interpretive Center and Franklin County Historical Museum, and discover the charming tasting rooms of Prosser’s Vintners Village. Along the way, we’ll enjoy regionally inspired cuisine—including a special dinner cruise on the Columbia River.

Throughout the trip, there’s time to unwind and take in the beauty of the region—whether from a tasting room patio, a riverside restaurant, or the deck of our evening cruise. With comfortable accommodations, expertly planned stops, and plenty of time to sip and savor, this tour is a perfect blend of relaxation, discovery, and flavor.

Day 1 – 9/24/25
We begin our journey with a relaxing drive through the Columbia Gorge, arriving in the heart of Washington’s wine country just in time for lunch in Richland. This afternoon, we’ll visit the beautiful Terra Blanca Winery, where we’ll enjoy a tasting amidst sweeping vineyard views. After checking into our hotel on the banks of the Columbia River, take some time to rest before gathering for a special welcome dinner at Tagaris Winery—an inviting spot known for Mediterranean-inspired cuisine and warm hospitality.

Day Two – Thursday, September 25
After breakfast, we’ll explore the fascinating Hanford Reach Interpretive Center, where exhibits bring to life the region’s rich natural and cultural history. Then it’s off to Prosser for lunch and time to browse the tasting rooms and shops at Vintners Village. In the afternoon, we’ll enjoy a tasting at Desert Wind Winery, with its Southwestern charm and sweeping valley views. The evening brings a delicious dinner at Anthony’s—where local seafood and Columbia River sunsets are always on the menu.

Day Three – Friday, September 26
This morning we visit the Franklin County Historical Museum, a small but engaging museum full of pioneer and agricultural history. Next, we head to Bookwalter Winery for a tasting followed by a relaxed gourmet lunch at their on-site restaurant. This evening, we’ll cap off our wine country experience with a scenic dinner cruise aboard Water2Wine—watching the sunset reflect off the river as we dine and toast to new friendships.

Day Four – Saturday, September 27
After breakfast, we’ll begin our leisurely return home. Midday, we’ll stop for lunch on your own in the charming town of Hood River—an ideal spot to stretch your legs and perhaps grab a treat from a local bakery before we return to the Willamette Valley with warm memories and maybe a bottle or two to share.
