Start in Nashville for an exciting Music Industry Experience featuring famous sights and the Grand Ole Opry. Then head to Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains for scenic views, live music, Dolly Parton and a whole lot of fun. We will also be visiting the beautiful Biltmore Estate, the Oconaluftee Indian Village and Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga. This is a trip you do not want to miss!!
What to Expect on this Tour:
Day 1 – September 8, 2025 – Arrive in Nashville
Today, you will be transferred to the Portland International Airport for your flight to Nashville, TN from one of our regular pick up spots in Salem, Woodburn or Tualatin. On arrival, a motorcoach will transfer the group to the Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville for a two-night stay. Dinner is on your own this evening.
Day 2 – September 9, 2025 – Ryman Auditorium to the Grand Ole Opry
Then visit the Country Music Hall of Fame, the keeper of priceless Country Music Treasures. Your self-guided tour is a walk through history, from the earliest folk traditions to the music that thrills millions of fans today. Visit the Hall of Fame Rotunda, the never-ending circle, and storied home of the inductees.
After your tour, explore the new Fifth + Broadway for lunch on your own at the Assembly Food Hall, a European-style market with casual dining both indoor and open air. With eats and entertainment for all ages, this venue is changing the way Nashville lives, works, and plays.
Tonight, dinner is at the Opry Backstage Grill serving signature Southern Cooking paired perfectly with Live Country Music. Your waitress might even jump on the stage and sing a country favorite or two.
Day 3 – September 10, 2o25 – Pigeon Forge – The Array Variety Show
Day 4 –September 11, 2025 – Great Smoky Mountains and Dollywood!
Day 5 – September 12, 2025 -The Biltmore Estate & Antler Hill Village
After breakfast, depart for Asheville, NC. Visit The Biltmore Estate, America’s largest privately owned home. Enjoy a self-guided visit exploring grand spaces filled with masterpieces of art and stunning antiques. Explore Biltmore Estate’s historic 75 acres of gardens, an excellent way to experience Olmsted’s genius firsthand. Lunch will be included today at the Stable Cafe.
Also included today is a complimentary Wine Tasting at the Biltmore Winery and time to explore Antler Hill Village. You will step into the everyday lives of families who lived on the estate raising livestock, tending crops, and working at Biltmore Dairy in the 1890s. The Barn in Antler Hill Village – once the social and work center for these families – is alive again with blacksmiths, woodworkers, and other craft demonstrations, and a unique selection of American made arts and crafts items.
Day 6 – September 13, 2025 Oconaluftee Indian Village
Start with a visit to Oconalufree Indian Village and see what life was like in the 18th Century for the Cherokee in the North Carolina mountains. Then travel takes you to Chattanooga, TN for a two night stay at the downtown Holiday Inn Express. Tonight, dinner is included at Sticky Fingers, home of the best barbeque in the south. (B,D)
Day 7 – September 14, 2025 Ruby Falls – Lookout Mountain Incline – Rock City Gardens
After breakfast, journey deep inside historic Lookout Mountain to see the tallest and deepest underground waterfall open in the United States! Descend 260 feet by glass-front elevator to begin a guided walk along the paved half-mile cavern trail for a close-up view of thundering Ruby Falls. Then experience the Lookout Mountain Incline Railway, America’s Most Amazing Mile. Ascend historic Lookout Mountain at a 72.7% grade.
Day 8 – September 15, 2025 Ruby Falls –Jack Daniel’s Distillery Tour & Tasting – Depart for Home
After breakfast, travel to Lynchburg, TN, home of Jack Daniels for a tour and tasting. Let a seasoned storyteller guide you through Mr. Jack’s distillery and old-time Tennessee whiskey-making process. Then, finish your visit with a memorable stop at the historic Barrel House. Here you’ll sample five of the most popular whiskeys and liqueurs.
