Itinerary

Our scenic Northwest getaway begins with convenient pick-ups in Salem, Woodburn, and Tualatin. We’ll travel north into Washington for a delicious waterfront lunch at Anthony’s in Olympia, followed by a guided tour of the beautiful Washington State Capitol Building. Later, we’ll check in at the lovely Silver Cloud Waterfront Hotel on Tacoma’s picturesque Ruston Way. After a bit of time to relax and settle in, we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner together at Duke’s Seafood—just a short stroll from the hotel.
Day Two – Thursday, August 14
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll explore Tacoma’s fascinating LeMay – America’s Car Museum, featuring over 300 vintage and classic vehicles. Next, we’ll have lunch at the unique and historic McMenamin’s Elks Temple before exploring two architectural gems—Tacoma’s Spanish Steps and the strikingly scenic Stadium High School. You’ll have some time to rest before a memorable dinner at the charming Over the Moon Café in Tacoma’s historic Opera Alley.

Day Three – Friday, August 15
This morning begins with breakfast near the hotel, followed by a visit to the stunning Museum of Glass, where a guide will lead us through dazzling exhibits. We’ll then stroll across the Bridge of Glass, designed by world-renowned artist Dale Chihuly. Lunch awaits us in the charming harbor town of Gig Harbor before we return to the hotel. The afternoon is yours to explore the shops, cafes, and waterfront views of Ruston at your own pace. Dinner is on your own this evening, but plan to eat a little earlier to we can be on time for the Sunset Cruise on Puget Sound.
Day Four – Saturday, August 16
We’ll wrap up our tour with a delightful ride aboard the Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad’s Brunch Train. Savor a tasty meal as we take in the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest on this heritage train ride. Afterward, we’ll head home with fond memories and new friendships.
