What to Expect on this Tour:

Spokane Falls
Day 1 – Off to Spokane & Davenport Hotel
OregonWest begins this excursion with pick ups in the Willamette Valley (Salem, Woodburn, and Tualatin) and then heads out into the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. Although today is a travel day, the group will have have rest stops in the Gorge, allowing the group to take in the views and enjoy food along the way. Check into the beautiful and historic Davenport Hotel in downtown Spokane and get ready for another delightful dinner. Tomorrow the group will be in Montana! (L, D)
Day 2 – Silver Mine Tour and Kalispell, Montana
After breakfast at the Davenport Hotel, the group will depart for the Center of the Universe, Wallace, Idaho, whose other claim to fame is being the Silver Capital of the World. This small mining town has two very large titles, and the group will stop and have time to explore and decide for themselves. Start with a mine tour which will feature a ride on a trolley and walk through an actual silver mine. There will be free time after the tour in downtown Wallace for shopping, strolling, and lunch on your own. The group will then continue on to Kalispell where it will check into the Hampton Inn Kalispell, settle in, and then have dinner as a group in town. (B, D)
Day 3 – Glacier National Park and the Famous Red Bus Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, prepare for a day full of stunning vistas! The group will be picked up by the famous Red Bus tours, which take place in the vintage 1930s buses with roll-back roofs. Today the group will explore the park, stopping at multiple vistas for photo opportunities. The Red Bus tour will travel up Going-to-the-Sun road and cross the Crown of the Continent at Logan pass, among other beautiful locations. At the end of the tour, guests will have time to freshen up before going out to dinner again as a group. (B, D)
Day 4 – Gondola Ride at Whitefish Resort and Lake McDonald Boat Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, the group will head to new heights during a morning gondola ride at the Whitefish Resort. Here guests will experience breathtaking views of Whitefish Lake, the Flathead Valley, Glacier National Park, and the Northern Rockies. At the summit of Big Mountain, guests can rest and visit the US Forest Service’s Summit Nature Center before descending on the gondola. This afternoon, views will be from a different perspective, from the water as the group boards a boat tour of Lake McDonald. Return to the hotel to freshen up before heading out to the group’s last dinner in Kalispell. (B, L, D)
Day 5 – Coeur D’Alene Cultural Activity and Dinner Cruise
The group will depart for Idaho after breakfast and arrive in Coeur D’Alene for lunch. This afternoon, visit the first tribal eagle aviary in the northwest for a tour led by Coeur D’Alene Tribal Fish and Wildlife professionals. The group will check in to the Coeur D’Alene Casino Resort before heading to Lake Coeur D’Alene to board a chartered dinner cruise. This evening there will be free time for exploring the resort or resting – there are still two more days! (B, L, D)
Day 6 – Richland, Washington Reach Museum and Wine Dinner
This morning after breakfast at the hotel the group will depart for Richland, Washington where it will spend one evening. In Richland, the group will have lunch and then visit the Reach Museum which displays information about Ice Age Floods, Mid-Columbia River Basin history, and the Hanford Reach National Monument. The group will then check in to the Hampton Inn Richland and have time to freshen up before a dinner at the Tagaris Winery for food, wine, and one final opportunity to have dinner with fellow travelers on this wonderful excursion. Day 7 – Richland, Washington Reach Museum and Wine Dinner
This morning, the group will have breakfast and then head back into Oregon with a stop for lunch in Hood River. Guests will be dropped off in Tualatin, Woodburn, and Salem after this scenic trip. (B, L)
